Priestnall School are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Female PE Teacher to join our thriving PE Department on a Fixed-term basis. Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher or an experienced Teacher, we welcome individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality, engaging PE lessons that foster curiosity and academic success. We are open to part-time working for this position.
The PE curriculum at Priestnall School is broad and balanced, allowing students to develop the knowledge and skills to be physically active and healthy now and in later life. Our curriculum will promote a love of physical activity and the confidence to participate. The curriculum will also promote the academic side of the subject, closely linking practical and academic concepts to ensure Powerful Knowledge is accessed by all. Students will be presented with intellectual and physical challenges, which they will work as a team to overcome while demonstrating the trust qualities. We believe Sportspersonship should be visible in all lessons, with students abiding by rules, being humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
